Treat Your Organization to the Wonders of the Universe at the Historic Link Observatory
Reserve a special evening for your organization at Indiana's most historic astronomical observatory. Located on a high bluff about 3 miles south of Mooresville Indiana on US 67, this historic facility is the most unique venue for private functions in Indiana. Your organization will marvel at its classic design and beautiful hand-built construction.

Our conference room comfortably seats up to 50 people with a large projection screen, audio system and a small kitchenette. The Observation Deck contains our centerpiece 5,000-pound astronomical telescope which sits on a 200-ton concrete pier all under a 35-ton wooden observatory dome, the largest wooden observatory dome in North America. The entire facility was hand built in 1939 in beautifully finished natural wood, cut and milled from the trees on the site.

Let us cater to your private group as we provide a fascinating multimedia presentation and a talented staff of lecturers, guides and certified telescope operators. It will be an evening your organization will never forget as they each have the opportunity to gaze at the wonders of the universe through Indiana's most historic astronomical telescope.
